How the service works

Key-programming process

The exact programming route varies by model, year and security platform, but every job follows the same controlled sequence.

1

Verify ownership

Confirm customer identity and proof of ownership before accessing vehicle-security functions.

2

Identify the vehicle

Use the VIN, registration, model year and security configuration to establish the correct route.

3

Diagnose the system

Check the KVM, BCM, immobiliser, power supply and relevant module communication.

4

Cut the blade

Cut the physical or emergency key blade when the selected key requires one.

5

Pair the transponder

Pair the key transponder with the vehicle’s Keyless Vehicle Module or relevant security module.

6

Synchronise security

Synchronise the key with the immobiliser and associated control modules.

7

Remove missing keys

Delete lost or stolen keys from the authorised list where the vehicle platform permits.

8

Test every function

Confirm remote locking, passive entry, emergency access and push-button starting before handover.
